I saw Sorority Boys tonight. I swear, it is the funniest movie out right now. I was in stitches throughout the whole movie! I just couldn't stop laughing. Not too many sight gags, but just really funny situations and facial expressions by the three main actors. Oh, and a lot of gratuitous tits. You HAVE to go see it LOL.

Strictly Ballroom is one of my favorite dance movies. The music, the humor, and the dancing are all great! Kristen saw it for the first time and she had a smile on her face the whole time. Now we have to sign up for Ballroom and Latin dance lessons. I've been meaning to for a while, but this movie has given me new inspiration.

Of course, my favorite dance movie of all times is a little japanese film entitled Shall We Dance. I can't wait until they release this movie on DVD!

Blade 2 kicks too much ass. It is better than the original, MUCH better. More blood, more guts, more action, more comedy, more heart. Just truly truly BADASS. Go see it now. Don't wait.

Watched The Glass House tonight. It was a good old-fashion suspense film with decent acting. One thing that came to mind was why Leelee Sobieski's wardrobe consisted of only tank tops. Seriously, this movie is all about her cleavage. Not that I had a problem with it cuz she is not bad to look at.

Of course, my all around favorite MILF is and will always be Diane Lane. I mean, Streets of Fire moved me in so many ways hehehe. Too bad Diane plays a cracked-out cracker in this film.

Let's see...

  • I finished Halo on the Xbox. Now have to go back and finish it on Legendary level.
  • Just bought Rallisport Challenge for the Xbox. AWESOME graphics. Game seems fun so far, but I need to play it a little more.
  • Saw the movie Showtime with Eddie Murphy and Robert DeNiro. Not bad. Had some moments, but nothing to write home about.

Just finished watching Zoolander with Kristen, Scot, and Naomi. I went into this movie with an open mind but thinking in the back of my head that it wasn't going to be that great.

Well, it started off a bit slow but really picks up in the last half. This movie had a lot of clever ideas and although not all of them came out as funny as I would have hoped, there are still a lot of laughs. Owen Wilson had me in stitches! That guy has really good comedic timing. He was great in Shanghai Noon and he is really good here. Did I mention that Zoolander has cameos up the yin-yang? I mean, EVERYONE is in this movie. Oh, the outakes were friggin' hilarious as well. I love DVDs.

Just wasted 1.5 hours of my life on the piece of crap movie known as Soul Survivors. I love Eliza Dushku; she is the ONLY reason I rented this pile of shit. The story makes no sense throughout it's duration and you wait until the end hoping for a big payoff. Well, it never happens. Talk about BLUE BALLS. My life has less meaning after having sat through this movie. Avoid it at all costs.

I have something to confess. I enjoy watching NBC's Fear Factor. I don't watch it regularly because I forget when it is on, but I stop channel surfing whenever I hit it. Why do I like it so much? Where else can you see people eating stuff like pig rectum and intestines, Madagascar roaches and other unspeakable stuff. Plus, when they have celebrities as contestants...oh boy!

No, I did not want to watch this movie. Keanu Reeves coaching a baseball team from the projects? You've got to be kidding me. I've seen the Bad News Bears and this type of kid-sport-teamwork-type flick too many times. Of course, my girlfriend Kristen insisted we watch it, stating that her friend Lilian thought it was good. You all know Lilian, the same woman who thought Driven was good. Well you know what? Lillian is now 2 and 0 because Hardball is good (and so was Driven).

I know, I couldn't believe I enjoyed it. This movie doesn't bore you with exploring how the kids grow together as a team and become good ball players; this movie only touches on that. Instead, it concentrates on Keanu Reeves and what effect the kids have on him. Here is the scary part...Reeves is good in this movie, can you believe that? whoa.

Just received the new album by Way Out West entitled Intensify. Really nice. The Mindcircus track rules the world. That's all.

Oh, also received my XBOX controller extensions from GameStop. I can finally get my XBOX off the floor. Yay.

Man, I really wanted to like The One. Really cool concept and had so much promise but ultimately disappointing. The action scenes might have been cool if The Matrix-type special effects hadn't already been over-played by Hollywood.

Funny thing is, I didn't think I would like Jet Li's Kiss of the Dragon but I did. Go figure.

Picked up the new Kylie Minogue CD entitled Fever. Great CD! Of course the song "Can't Get You Out of My Head" that has been getting radio play lately is an homage to the old Eurodance-Newave type sound that us Asians loved so much back in the 80s. Heck, I still love it. Modern Talking, CC Catch, Bad Boys Blue...all good stuff man, GOOD STUFF!.

Finally, Eat Drink Man Woman gets released on DVD. Such a great movie. My next hobby is going to be cooking the Chinese way. I'm not talking Hop Sing Chinese Restaurant type cooking; I am talking about hardcore authentic Chinese cooking. The Japanese and French have nothing on presentation when compared to the Chinese!

I am the KING of Dead or Alive 3 for the XBOX. It is all about timing and countering. Of course, when the add-on disc for DOA3 comes out in July with all the extra costumes, I am all there. For sure! Check out one of Tina's new costumes (courtesy of XboxGamers.com)

Ok, I have decided to only have this home page display content for the current month. You can find all my posts for previous months under the Archives section. Go look there now!

I have also decided to post more often for my three loyal website visitors hehe: BeachPig, Juunanagou, and ThreeHeadedNinjaMonkey. What that means I guess is more opinions on DVDs and other stupid stuff that I waste my money on. OOOOHH, and hopefully more pictures too. I know I have some scandalous ones lying around here somewhere.

On another note, I just started reading again a series I finished when I was back in high school...The Belgariad by David Eddings. GREAT fantasy series that I was never able to forget. For some people, it was all about the Shanara series. Not for me, it was all about Garion, Belgarath, and Polgara. It is a MUST. I actually enjoyed it more than the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Flame on!

There are five books to the Belgariad: Pawn of Prophecy, Queen of Sorcery, Magician's Gambit, Castle of Wizardry, and Enchanter's End Game. Buy them!
